Living with Diabetes Conference

LIVING WITH DIABETES15th June 2024

An important day-long conference in Jersey during nationwide Diabetes Week in June 2024

Diabetes Jersey is holding a one-day conference at the Radisson Blu Hotel on Saturday 15 June 2024. The Conference is timed to coincide with the final day of 2024’s National Diabetes Week and will be the culmination of the local charity’s week-long campaign raising awareness of the condition.

The theme of this year’s Conference is “Living with Diabetes” and it is aimed at those Islanders who have diabetes, healthcare professionals and anyone with an interest in the condition. The Conference will include a wide range of topics focused on all aspects of Diabetes, its management and its treatment.

The  Conference will be led by Dr David Hopkins, Consultant Physician and Lead for Diabetes & Endocrinology, Jersey Health And Community Services and will include Professor Khalida Ismail, Professor of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neurology at Kings College, London, who specialises in diabetes and mental health, Professor David Strain of the University of Exeter who will speak on diabetes and ageing, among other high profile speakers.
