Help needed?

URGENT APPEAL: We need your assistance. H2O is an EU wide project that aims to develop observatories to measure health outcomes in long term conditions, including diabetes.

Dr David Hopkins is leading on the diabetes work stream and working with a team based at Kings College, has reviewed all of the outcomes and decided on which of these to measure. A ‘meta-tool’ for a questionnaire has been developed, comprising a series of questions about different aspects on the impact of living with diabetes.

The intention is to pilot the questionnaire with patients of both Kings College and Jersey before extending the research to mainland Europe. To this end, Diabetes Jersey is seeking 3 adults with Type 1 and 5 adults with Type 2 diabetes to participate in a Zoom video conference, between 6 and 8pm on Thursday 24th July

Those hosting the call are post-doctoral psychology researchers based at Kings and have extensive experience in the area of diabetes. Also participating is Dr Hopkins. For anyone wishing to participate in this important project, please contact the Diabetes Jersey Chairman, Bill O’Brien at ‘wobriendj@gmail.com by Tuesday 22nd July
