Our members are at the heart of what we do. We support each other and share our experiences.

The generosity of our members and supporters also enables us to fund essential care and services to help improve the lives of everyone with the condition and also alert the public to the importance of early diagnosis.

By standing with us, our members and supporters make us a far more effective body as we campaign to ensure that diabetes care remains in the forefront of public health considerations.

The primary function of the charity is to raise awareness of the condition; offer information and advice to all those that require it including people with Diabetes, their family and friends. There are lots of ways to help raise awareness of diabetes and of Diabetes Jersey activities. By doing so you will help us to improve the lives of people with the condition, as well as their loved ones and carers.

You could put up posters or display awareness materials and other diabetes information. You might want to get involved as a volunteer, organising or taking part in awareness events and activities.

Jersey Diabetes volunteers play a huge part in what we offer the community, helping us in all areas. If you’d like to volunteer with us, please contact us and we’ll work hard to match specific skills, interests and experience in a suitable role.
