London Marathon update

Congratulations Richard, who yesterday completed the London Marathon adorned as a sugar cube weighing 8 kgs!

Not only did he raise awareness of MODY, and over £6500 for Diabetes Jersey, he did so while suffering from tendinopathy. Richard had an issue behind the glute muscle in the weeks leading up to race day and during it.

Therefore, completing the course in 6 hours 40 minutes is an INCREDIBLE achievement. From us all at Diabetes Jersey, a huge thank you and well done Richard!!

It is not too late to donate to Richard’s fundraising. If you wish to do so, please go to the charity’s donate page on the website or scan the QR code above.
