Type 1 diabetes imposes significant disciplines on parents/guardians and children alike. Type 1 requires multiple injections of insulin daily and constant monitoring of blood sugar levels. In many instances modern technology can alleviate the need for continual ‘finger-pricking’ to measure sugar levels but the use of such technology is a clinical decision.
Our members are at the heart of what we do. We support each other and share our experiences.
