Meet Diabetes Type 1 and Type 2 Representative

CASS CHANNING TYPE 2 REPRESENTATIVE

Diabetes Jersey would like to introduce Cass Channing, who is  a member of the charity’s General Committee.

She is acting as the representative for all those with Type 2 diabetes and is keen to engage with anyone  who has this condition.

Cass has formed a Support Group, run on similar lines that is offered to those with Type 1 diabetes and also organises informal Coffee Mornings.

If you are interested, please contact Cass at ‘c.channingt2d@gmail.com

Bill O’Brien, Chairman of Diabetes Jersey commented, ‘This is a long overdue initiative and the charity is grateful to Cass for wanting to take on this role. With around 4,000 Islanders having Type 2 diabetes, I hope that any person who believes that this area of support would be of benefit to them, will make contact with Cass’.

Diabetes Jersey would like to introduce Liz Freeman who is on the General Committee and is our Type 1 Representative.

Liz is type 1 herself & has created a great community & support network for Type 1’s.
