The Diabetes Jersey North2South Walk in Memory of Brian Le Marquand MBE is organised to support the Charity’s ongoing commitment of around £150,000 annually to support those in Jersey with Diabetes and to ensure that all persons in the Island with Diabetes receive the best possible attention.

The North2South Walk will start at the Public Car Park,Les Landes Race Course, St Ouen and will wind down Jersey’s countryside to finish at the Public Car Park at Corbiere Phare, Corbiere.

Registration: £15 online | £25 on the day

Date: Sunday 15th June 2025

Time: 09:00

Start: Public Car Park, Les Landes Race Course, Grosnez, St Ouen

Finish: Public Car Park, Corbiere Phare, Corbiere

Distance: Approx 8 miles (leisurely pace, family friendly, dog friendly)

Portaloo: There will be a Portaloo at the start and one about half way along the walk (position tba) and Public Toilets at Corbiere.

COACH: PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL ONLY BE A COACH FROM THE STEAM CLOCK TO THE START AT LES LANDES THIS YEAR, COST £2 PER PERSON. THERE IS A REGULAR BUS SERVICE FROM CORBIERE BACK INTO TOWN. TICKETS TO BE PURCHASED WHEN YOU REGISTER ON THIS SITE. 

Coaches from the Steam Clock, Waterfront, St Helier to Public Car Park, Les Landes Race Course, Grosnez: 8am and 8.30am

PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO OBTAIN SPONSORSHIP OR DONATE, FOR US TO RAISE SUFFICIENT FUNDS TO MAKE THE EVENT WORTHWHILE AS A FUNDRAISER. WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT.

• Please remember to bring your own water.
• There will be public toilets at the end of the Route and Portaloo at the start and midway.
• The Walk will be clearly marked with yellow and black arrows.
• Dogs are allowed on the Walk and on the coaches provided they are kept on a lead at all times and are a well-behaved.

We are seeking 30 or so patients with any form of the condition to participate in the OneApp Soft Launch Plan, which is being held between 11am  and 1pm on Saturday 8th February at the Pomme D’or Hotel and would ask that you consider participation.

For those with diabetes and who attend the event, there is a free Draw for one lucky winner to receive an IPad.
